If you suffered abuse or childhood trauma, you did not have a “Job experience.” It’s not the heart or plan of the Father that children should suffer, or so He can use it later.

Almost, But Not Quite

Job WAS NOT a CHILD when Satan asked to test Job, and the Lord let him. If you have believed that the Lord let abuse and trauma happen so He could use it for His glory and your ministry, you are listening to a false Jesus.

If it doesn’t line up with the heart and character of God, you may have a false Jesus speaking to you. In 2 Corinthians 11:14, it says that Satan masquerades as an angel of light. He can even mimic Jesus. A false Jesus will sound ALMOST right, but something will violate the Father’s heart and character.

He Works All Things for Your Good

Does the Lord work all things for your good when you love and trust in Him?

Yes!

Does he give you beauty for ashes?

Yes!

The Lord takes what the enemy intended for evil and turns it for good. He gives you beauty for your ashes and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. God is neither the author nor the conspirator of childhood trauma. Satan is!

Have you unknowingly believed in a false Jesus? Renounce the belief you came into agreement with and command the false Jesus to leave your presence now and never return.

Reject Childhood Trauma as a Job Experience

Pray this prayer out loud to renounce and reject the lie that any childhood trauma was the result of a “Job experience.”

Father, I repent that I have believed the father of lies that you were in any way involved in my abuse and childhood trauma. I reject those lies and come out of agreement with every single one of them. Specifically, I reject the lie that I had a Job experience. I receive Your truth over my life that Your plans are to prosper me, not to harm me. (Allow Him to speak other truths to you here)

Help me renew my mind to align with your heart and character for my life. Reveal any other areas that I have believed in a false Jesus. I choose to partner with truth instead of lies.

I praise you, Lord, for Your lovingkindness toward me. Thank you for healing my heart and renewing my mind. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
