Hello Friends! Last time it was human trafficking in Germany. This time, Hiroshima, Japan. I’m so thrilled about this opportunity to do street ministry for Jesus in a largely unreached area. But I need your help! Here are all the details!
We’ll spend ten days in Hiroshima. The focus of this trip is to disciple anyone we come into contact with, mainly college students. We’ll go where they are, which means meeting them in coffee shops, restaurants, college campuses, buses, trains, and streets.
We’ll partner with Lifehouse Church in Hiroshima to build relationships with the people we talk to and invite them to come to church with us on Sunday.
Why Hiroshima, Japan?
Hiroshima has so much ministry opportunity! The city has approximately 1.1 million people, but only 50 churches. That’s less than a thousand believers to reach the city.
Fun Fact: Overall, only 1.5% of Japan’s entire population identifies as Christian. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. (Matthew 9:37)
That’s where we come in!
Our team will help provide the church staff with some much-needed relief and support by serving their street ministries every day. We’ll also help with setting up and tearing down their mobile church.
How Can You Get Involved?
Right now, I’m $2070 from being fully funded. Any amount helps. I also need prayer partners. If you feel led to donate, below is a secure link to make donations. It’s tax-deductible. If you prefer to donate in another way, please email me directly for instructions here. Thank you for your support!
